APPLICATIONS

Resistance sensors with D-LA connection heads are for temperature measurements for solid, fluid or gaseous mediums. They are used with air-conditioning technology as well as on pipelines, within Heater, oven and device constructions. The standard gauge slide is with a Pt100 class B two-wire circuit. Pt500 and Pt1000 and three- and four wire connection heads are as well available. The D-LA shaped connection head is for surrounding temperatures up to
100 °C. The PWF 340 is manufactured with protection tube diameters of 6 mm and 8 mm. The fitting length is selectable free from 50 mm. A G 1/2” screw-in pivot with 27 mm key-size is welded on the protection tube for fastening. The K model the protection tube can be twisted direct into the connection head or welded with a 27 mm key size pivot on to the protection tube.

Resistance Sensor plug connectors

The standard plug connectors are due to their construction reverse-polarity protected and up to 120 °C temperature stable. The round U type contact pins are out of copper (plus pin Ø 4 mm - minus pin Ø 4.7 mm). The plug is white and suitable for cross sections up to 1 mm². We recommend to assemble a strain relief with the plug and socket. This avoids the relieve of the leads from the plug. A brass ferrule will be provided, please state lead diameter.

Standard connection heads are with M16 x 1.5 cable screw union with rubber sealing which limits the temperature to 80 °C max. With silicone sealings there are temperatures up to 200 °C possible.
