Transition Ovens are required with manufacturing processes of continuous heating, thermal treatment of cables, metal bands, synthetic profiles or similar. Several Transition Ovens can be linked together. Different temperatures for example at entering or exit zones can be adjusted. Pulleys are available for enlarging the dwell time of the heated material inside. This construction is favorably with limited storage space. Energy savings are realized via adjustable covers in the area of entering and exit zones. The necessary integration into customer Control Systems takes place via actuators and sensors after agreement with the customer.

This Transition Oven is used for heating up endless steel band before further treatment.

Construction

  • 12x infrared heaters, 6 pieces on top half and 6 pieces on bottom half

This Transistion Oven is used for heating up endless Ø 9 mm silicone cable. 15 transit heaters combined together are one pre-heat unit of a cable manufacturing device. Pulleys underneath of the radiating casing double the dwell time of the cable withing the Transition Oven.

This Transition Oven is used for heating two Ø 260 mm synthetic profiles. To avoid material stress due to fast cooling down the profiles will be tempered direct behind the extruder. In the case of a breakdown the top half will be lifted and the bottom half will be lowered.
